111 束之毅

Peter was a young man who was positive and optimistic. The most important thing in his life was that he was going to get married with his girlfriend, Sylvia. He always thought that he was the happiest man in the world. But one day, things changed. His country declared war on its enemy. Struggling between the honor of the country, and the love with Sylvia and families, he still decided to join the army.

During the war, Peter met an important friend, Tim. They are similar to each other and both of them are full of hot blood—that’s why they were close like brothers. One day, the battle was ceased for a while. Peter told Tim his sotry and how he missed Sylvia. He also wrote a letter to her and asked Tim if there was something happened to him, help him bring the letter to her.

Unfortunately, things turned worst as always. In the last battle of the war, Peter and Tim were surrounded by enemy. In the most dangerous time, Peter gave the letter to Tim and gave him the last smile. Suddenly, he brought all the bombs and rushed to the enemy without saying any word.

Tim went back to the country and brought the letter to Sylvia. She was so sad that she cried her heart out. Tim knew that all he could do was to replace Peter to take care of her. But after few months, Sylvia killed herself with the letter on her hand. Tim decided to bury her near the cenotaph of Peter. And he swore that he would never forget the man who was not only his best friend, his forever soul mate but also the hero of the country.
